Bringing Experience to Leadership

My campaign is built on a simple belief: Lamar County deserves a Sheriff with the experience to lead and the commitment to move our community forward. From my service in the military to my years as a State Trooper and professional investigator, I’ve learned what real accountability, preparation, and public safety look like. Now, I’m ready to bring that experience home to strengthen the Sheriff’s Office and better protect the people who call Lamar County home.

I’m not running to maintain the status quo—I’m running to modernize our department, improve training, upgrade technology, and create a proactive, community-focused approach to law enforcement. I’ve seen firsthand how the right leadership can solve problems that others say “can’t be done,” and I’m committed to delivering that level of service to our citizens. Together, we can build a safer, stronger Lamar County for every family and business.

Trust grows when people know what to expect from leadership. Grateful to have met so many wonderful Lamar County citizens over the past few months and look forward to meeting many more!

Leadership means being ready before problems arise. Planning, preparation, and paying attention to the details behind the scenes are what I believe set real leadership apart.

Community safety starts long before a call for service. What do you think makes a community safe?

Snow days are rare around here but progress shouldn’t be. If you believe in leadership that keeps moving forward, I’d be honored to earn your vote for Sheriff in 2028! ☃️❄️

Service has a way of bringing people together. When we lead with humility and focus on helping others, trust and understanding follow. That’s the kind of leadership I believe in for our Lamar County.

We heard it was "Fun Fact Friday"... ok just kidding 🤣, but here's a fun fact for you:

Tim collects Funko Pops. But it isn't just a random collection. Each figure has a story behind it related to an investigation he's worked on. Some may be about the person he helped, while others were simply relevant to the case. 🕵️‍♂️

I’ve worked in and with Law Enforcement long enough to know what really helps: leadership that shows up, listens, and has people’s backs. When folks feel supported and treated fairly, they do their best work. That’s the approach I believe in, and it’s what I’m bringing to this race for Sheriff of Lamar County.

Accountability isn’t about catching people doing something wrong... it’s about leadership that’s clear, fair, and consistent. When expectations are set and support is given, trust follows. That’s the kind of sheriff I’m committed to being. If this approach matters to you, I’d be honored to earn your vote in the Lamar County Sheriff election in 2028.

Last Friday was Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, and it brought back memories from my early days as an officer. I learned quickly that trust is not automatic because it’s something that has to be earned by showing up, listening, and treating people with respect in every situation. That lesson has stayed with me and continues to guide how I believe public safety should be done.

Small actions add up and make public spaces safer and more welcoming.

2. Volunteer with local nonprofits
Food banks, shelters, youth programs, and senior centers always need helping hands.

3. Support neighborhood clean-up days
Organize or join efforts to improve parks, sidewalks, and shared spaces.

4. Look out for neighbors
Check in on seniors, offer help to families in need, or simply be a friendly presence.

5. Participate in community events
Showing up builds connection and strengthens local bonds.

6. Donate unused items or supplies
Clothing, food, hygiene items, and school supplies can make a real difference.

7. Be a safe, responsible driver
Slowing down in neighborhoods and school zones protects everyone.

8. Report safety concerns
Let local officials know about hazards like damaged signs, potholes, or unsafe conditions.

9. Support local businesses
Keeping dollars in the community helps families and fuels growth.

10. Set a positive example
Kindness, respect, and accountability are contagious.

Strong communities start with informed voters. Make sure you’re registered to vote!

For more than 20 years, one of our neighbors lived with a government mistake that held them back. When Tim heard their story, he stepped in and made the right calls, connected the right people, and fought to get the truth recognized.

The case will be dismissed, which will restore their ability to legally own and carry a firearm and fully exercise their Second Amendment rights.

This is what real leadership looks like: standing up when the system doesn’t, helping one person at a time, and strengthening our community with every step forward.

I’m committed to an office that Lamar County can trust and easily access, not one that hides behind red tape.
